  • I got my CF-L2 in June of 2020 and have been coaching since summer of 2015.

  • I’m a second year in UK’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program.

  • I LOVE music and have been playing the piano since I was 5.

  • Currently attending UK College of Medicine (Dr. Romines coming in 2025)

  • Born and raised in Minnesota 

  • I started Crossfit the day after I graduated high school and finished my softball career at the Minnesota State Tournament (way back in 2016)

  • Before the beard and long hair was a Staff Sergeant in the Army with Deployments to Africa and Afghanistan.

  • Played golf and baseball in high school but was probably best at ultimate frisbee.

  • When I'm not gyming I'm out hiking and traveling (22 miles in one day is my current longest day hike)

  • Outside the gym I'm a chemical federal contractor. Don't worry, nothing I do is top secret.

  • I have a blue heller named Waylon and he has more energy than Maddie coaching 5 pm.

  • I’ve been playing competitively on a wheelchair basketball team since 2001. 

  • I’ve been working for the Fayette County public school system in some capacity since 2013, including teaching and developing and directing The Inclusive Recreation Program (TIRP) designed to offer students with mobility issues an opportunity to develop healthy habits through adaptive recreation.
